BOZEMAN, MT (October 13, 2016). Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport handled 545,909 passengers between May 1, 2016 and September 30, 2016, up 10.4% over the previous record of 494,545. Year to date, the airport is up 8.9% and is on track to handle nearly 1.1 million passengers for the calendar year. “The addition of American Airlines’ new service to Dallas/Ft. Worth and expanded service by Alaska, Delta and United all contributed to the record breaking summer. Demand factors included growth in Yellowstone Park visitation and the exceptionally strong growth in the local economy.” said Brian Sprenger, Airport Director. Monthly passenger growth and airline market share were as follows:
