BOZEMAN, MT (April 3, 2025) After many years of dedicated
service, Scott Humphrey, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer will
be retiring from the Gallatin Airport Authority (GAA) on May 2, 2025. Scott has
been a cornerstone of our airport’s growth and success for many years, and we
are profoundly thankful for his unwavering commitment and outstanding
contributions.
During his time with us, Scott has been a passionate
advocate for our airport, championing our mission to operate and maintain an
aviation facility that meets the demands of the flying public as well as enhance
economic vitality for the region. His expertise and commitment were key in
navigating unprecedented airport growth, meeting increased traffic demands, and
positioning us for the future. Scott’s leadership was pivotal in driving
strategic initiatives that supported long-term development, including infrastructure
expansion and strengthening relationships with key airlines partners and
airfield stakeholders.
While we will undoubtedly miss Scott’s invaluable
contributions, we are excited to announce the appointment of Aaron Collins,
A.A.E., IAP as Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer (EVP, CCO)
and Chris Pomeroy, C.M. as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (EVP,
COO) to succeed him. Both Aaron and Chris bring a wealth of experience in the
aviation industry, along with a strong commitment to continuing the work that
has made our airport successful. Aaron (EVP, CCO) will oversee the following
departments: Finance and Administration, Capital Projects, Information
Technology and Cybersecurity (IT), and Terminal Services and Appearance. Chris
(EVP, COO) will oversee the following departments: Maintenance, Airport Operations,
Public Safety, and Airport Security.
We are confident Aaron and Chris will seamlessly transition
into this role and build upon the exceptional foundation laid by Scott. Please
